Stop Motion

How To:


Download the app from the app store. The app will look like a camera. When you open the app it comes up with two slides.When you click continue at the bottom it will show a welcome video, you can click to watch it if you want.If you wanna add a video, you can by clicking the plus button that is right next to the welcome video, first get an idea then take as many pictures as you want and of whatever you want to take picture of, then you can watch it by clicking the button above, where you take the pictures.If you want to edit it click the video, you can do movie effects, add recording, add images, theme cards, or music and you can add how long your one picture stays on the screen.You can record yourself speaking by clicking the first button that looks like a microphone then click record, wait till it says recording. When you are done recording click the back arrow. Then you can click the play button to watch your video, then click done when you are done watching it.

Applications:


  • Projects that you are doing in class. You can show pictures of your project, and you can show a picture of what you want to say and record over top and say what's on the screen!
  • You can animate a video and entertain some of your friends or your family!
  • You can make Youtube videos or maybe for instagram and post it online or maybe text your friends.
  • You can animate your videos by drawing pictures to make it look animated.  
  • Your way, you can make up any crazy fun ways to use this app, just have fun!!

Haiku Deck

How to:

You can find the Haiku Deck website at https://www.haikudeck.com  Next, you need to create an account. After creating an account click the create new deck. This will bring you to a page that says click and edit. Here you can create a new slideshow. On the slideshow you can add videos, pictures, notes, and more. To add a new slide click the plus sign on the bottom right hand corner. Then you can select your slide type.The slide types will give you different font choices. Next, when you are finished creating your slideshow click the play button in the top right hand corner. This will allow you to view your presentation. Haiku Deck is a lot like powerpoint. We like using Haiku Deck because it is more user friendly.

Today’s Meet




How To:


The first thing you do is go to todaysmeet.com. Under “Get Started Right Now” pick a name for your room. The name for the room will appear in the url (web address). For example, if you type TechBoss for the name of your room the web address would be: todaysmeet.com/techboss. If the name you type has a red X at the end of it, then the name has already been taken and you need to select another one. A green check mark means that the name is available. Next you say how long you want the room to be open. The options range from 1 hour to 1 month. To have others join your room simply share the room address. To begin communicating, type in your name and click “join”. Then, add a message and click “say.”

TouchCast

How to:   



When you first open up Touchcast, you have the choice to start from scratch or several studio choices. On the bottom of screen in the hotline bar you have the choices of Camera, Record,
effects, whiteboard, titles and vApps. When you click on Camera it gives you the option to turn on your Camera, Mic and mirroring. The Record button will always be there so that you can record when you want to. When You click on effects, you have the choice to add a Green Screen, color or Sound effects. If you click on Whiteboard you have the options of Board, new board, Glass, color of marker, text tool, eraser, arrow and undo and Clearboard to erase everything faster.Once you click on titles, you can update different colored titles for your video.Once you click vApps you have the choice to add a vApp, you have many different variety of choices to choose from.If you want to add a picture, then click photo and it will bring to your camera roll to select your pictures.Once you have selected your pictures click done and you can start recording.To start recording press the record button at the bottom of the screen and it will count down from three to one.You can stop your recording by clicking the record button again.When you are done with your Touchcast video click done in the top right hand conner and you can rewatch your video.you can save it to your library on Touchcast so you can keep rewatching it.

ScreenChomp



How To

Open the ScreenChomp app and start by taking a photo of yourself, choosing a photo from your photo album, or use the blank whiteboard. To begin recording, tap the red record button at the right hand corner and that says “rec”. You may record for as long as you would like. Wait till the 3-2-1 countdown ends and then start talking. If you would like to draw, click a colored marker and you can change the size or make it in a different color. If you would like to erase what you have written tap the eraser or you can hold your finger on the cloth icon.

When you are done talking, tap the stop button or pause it and continue when you're ready. After tapping stop, name your video and tap share. Once your video is ready, you can copy the link to share it. Try making a QR code with the link!

PicCollage





How To:


Open up the PicCollage app. First, you look at the bottom of your screen and you will see three words that say
  • Explore
  • Create
  • Activity
If you have a pic collage account, and you would like to explore other people’s pictures then click the “explore” button.


If you would like to create your own collage, then click the button “create”. If you create your own, then you can add stickers, pictures, videos, online photos, texts, backgrounds and much more!

The Activity button is your profile information and PicCollage News.

To share your collage tap the share icon (square with arrow). This will save it to your camera roll for easy sharing or select other sharing options.

Padlet

How to
Open the Padlet app on your electronic device or go to Padlet.com on your computer.Choose to create a new Padlet and it will bring you to a blank page. There is a tool bar on the right hand side.The picture on the bottom of the toolbar looks like a gear.You're going to want to use this tool for basic setup. Once you click this tool, another tool bar is going to appear that will allow you to create a title for the padlet, change the picture next to the title and choose wallpaper (now the page isn't blank).You’re going to want to choose a layout. Freeform allows you to click anywhere on the page to make a new textbox. Stream puts the boxes below each other box.


Kids can use padlet for:

  • Research
  • Homework pages
  • Presentations
  • Data/Diagrams
